Possibility for weekly fun, FH style

A discussion during the FH meet lead to the idea of forming a weekly team consisting of all Defenders and Controllers. There seemed to be a bit of interest so here is the offical post to find out the kind of interest there may be.

The event would be on a Tuesday night. Starting 1900-1930 and play for 3 or 4 hours before logging off.

If we can get sufficent interest for a full 8 man team (or maybe more than one team) then we are looking at starting begininng of Sept. (get summer over and done with first. I hear some poeple still like to go out in the Nat-ur-real light stuff. )

Server would be Infinity. Most of us still have slots there. 

I kind of got excited by the idea and have already rolled up an Earth/Kin called Ehlana who is waiting for friends to come join her.

I'm in, haven't quite made my mind up exactly what, possibilities are a gravity/TA or radiation controller, or Rad/sonic or archery defender.

As an aside how does a starting on a weekend and burn through to 15 or so? Shouldn't take long if we've got a full team, we get DOs and travel powers and it'll give us a good chance to sort out team roles.

Edit - prodding with build and rolled a Sonic\Energy called Art of Noise that looks as though it may be entertaining

I am up for the Sat start. Looking at the calender that would be.....

Sat 2nd Sept.

We could do sewers for the first 5-7 levels and then burn mobs in hollows or something to get us off to a start.

BTW - Still doing an earth controller, but the secondary is currently in debate. I think I will see what others go for.

Ive just created a dark/psi defender to add a little damage to our team. Sounds like this will be as fun as our rads, oh how i miss them.

We also talked about reviving the fallout on an irregular basis, if you want to take up that project...

I know it's a bit late as some of the toons have already been generated, but do we want a theme for the costumes ?

Well at this stage it's not going to be hard to remake for costumes
Ideas, people?

Do we want silly? (Pirates and ninjas)
Reformed Villians? (get to use all the funky options)
Scary? (Clowns and Mimes)
Futuristic?
Uniforms?

Once we have a few ideas we can poll it

Sadly I cannot make this, as Tuesday is Night Elf Night on WoW (also I'm running out of slots on Infinity).

However I'll be looking out for anyone else planning to rez (or should that be Mutate) Forlorn Fallout

I really like this idea. I am going to roll out a few test toons now but would quite like to experiment with a ill/ff or ill/rad troller.

Yep, count me in.  I'll be doing a Storm/Dark defender. I've already created him, but he's low enough for me to scrap (again) if I have to remake his cossie.

Just a thought, would people object to me playing a pure human form warshade (pretty controllerish anyway, particularly at higher levels) in this group ? This would have the advantage that if we decided we needed a tank later it's only a respec away.

So, anyone have ideas for theme or costumes?

Theme could just be colour based, or otherwise clowns, cowboys, pirates, bots, formal wear, military uniforms.

A few silly suggestions would be to go 'Thongbow', piss take red/white very skimpy longbow like costumes, or Victorian with top hats and handlebar moustaches, or 70s disco/funk refugees. Either that or Blues Brothers (male toons) and rocky horror show (female), shame you can't do the men in rocky horror show gear too.

Never underestimate the effect of a large group of similarly dressed heroes, usually arouses some comment.
