My Keyboard
My Mouse

Pop on round if you want to try them :)

If you want programmable stuff then you'll want to look at ;
Logitech G15

Wolfking Timber Wolf

Nostromo N52

And if you're haemorrhaging money you can keep an eye out for an Optimus

Be wary of the G15 although its great and does come with a WOW applet to make things easier, WOW GM's have felt it necessary to disable peoples accounts due to the software this keyboard uses as it exhibits similar features as a bot.

I like my G15 keyboard, though I don't have many macros on it.

Regarding the ToS, check this link:

Just from Skars link - it looks like the normal "Player set up macroes for AFK grinding then went sobbing to the boards when they got banned". For most MMOs the thing that gets you slapped isn't "macroing" it's "Unattended", most work on the "Is the player active and doing something but  unresponsive to tells?" principle.

Relevant quotes;

Quote from: Palehoof
I don't have the G15, but I have used the Zboard and the Nostromo N52 extensively, which have a lot of similar macro capacity.

I called account services to be sure, and this is what they told me.

If you're using a device like that to simulate player actions, and you are not present or do not need to be present for those actions to take place, then that's botting and you can be banned for it. If you're using a device like that to automate actions you would be taking anyway, and are at your keys making it happen, that that is not.

A person some months ago claimed they were banned just for using the N52. But in their description of the ban, they openly admitted they were using a looped macro to grind their weapons skills on a self healing mob while watching a movie. They also, if I recall, ignored multiple whispers from a GM.

In short, no, you cannot be banned for using the G15. However, some of the things you can do WITH it can get you banned.

Quote from: Kaone (Blizzard Spokesman)
This has been addressed before. The keyboard itself is completely okay for use with World of Warcraft. However due to the powerful nature of some of its capabilities, this keyboard is able to be used in such ways that they could violate our policies. Specifically the allowance of the use of this keyboard does automatically not condone the use of its macro functions in such ways that they would violate our policies. This can be thought of in much the same way as the allowance of the use of a standard keyboard does not condone harassing language being typed on it.

Ok, pretty much mate, I use the Logitech G11 simply because it has more keys so I was like "ooohhhhh shiiiiny, even more so then the g15 because there's more keys =p" not sure what others think, and I also use a corded mouse as I find them much more reliable, however, you also want a laser mouse again because they're more reliable, and i've been using a lovely little mouse from A4tech, a company I know Ash turned his nose up at, but still....
LINKAGE:
First, the two keyboards, people are suggesting the G15, I suggest the G11, it's also slightly cheaper, so again, SHINY =p

Mouse: That's the mouse I use, however there are lots others there that you can look at, I advise one with nice big buttons for playing WoW with, and I also like having the second scroll wheel for WoW too, I have a friend who originally showed me that mouse who had some how managed to have his hunter aspects set to cycle using that mouse's second scroll and the bongo's bar mod, and his warriors stance changes doing the same, I didn't like that, though the idea is really cool! there are lots of other things, however only one wheel is clickable on my mouse, but still, thats my suggestions and they come from experience.

Please have a look at them and see what you think, i'd much appreciate your opinion on them and be willing to have a little chat with you about them =)

(oh oh, also my first post in a freaking long time, I am still alive mod's here!!! =p)

For two scroll wheels you can't beat the Logitech Revolution, much nicer fit to the hand and the wheels are solid stainless steel :)
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/mice_pointers/mice/devices/130&cl=gb,en

And the Logitech panel will allow you to have a bunch of settings just for the game and another for office work and it'll auto detect what exe file is being used and switch automatically

only thing about that mouse, the buttons on the side are tiny, which isn't to my liking and another thing, I see no wire? hmmm, I prefer to have a wire in the mouse so it doesn't run out on me mid raid =p

that happened to me before because I forgot to turn the mouse of one night and the next day, middle of the prince fight, I had to carry on tanking the bastard with no mouse, damn i'm lucky I have spiders for fingers and can completely control my character with just the keyboard =p

I found it a little heavy to game with but it's really comfortable so I use it at work now. Handy having a free spin capability when you're trawling through over a million lines of database  ;D

Reading Skar's earlier post I am inclined to agree re. the G11.  Surely more programmable keys are better than a [small] fancy screen, and at £20 cheaper it must be the better choice.  Still like all things mousey and keyboardey, its horses for courses.

I prefer Logitech though.  I have the Logitech MX518 gaming mouse (corded) and a cheapo Logitech Ultra Flat Keyboard.  Its a bit small for me, but for £10 from PC World it will work until I have decided whether or not to go for the G11.....or the shiny G15.  Oh I hate decisions.

I think you should take the Mark phillosophy to all things technical in that the more money you extravagantly spend the better it's bound to be. Even if you have absolutely no idea why this thing is so expensive so long as the salesperson thinks it's good then that must be OK.

The process only ever breaks down if you talk to John Lake who will go "why didn't you buy ..." and regail you with all sorts of, what he sees as, common sense reasons for a different purchase. But he knows that all I hear is blah blah blah something technical, blah blah blah something else technical and all I'm thinking is "but mines more expensive" - works every time.

Hope this helps

Mark
