Mmmm - I just read the post about people spouting shite all the time -  Cuthbert will have to watch her mouth!
 ;D

Nah - knowing Zephyr nonsense is fine, some little shite smack-talking l33t is probably what he means ;)
When eyeing a large and dangerous mob...
...A Tanker says, "Stay here while I distract them with my rock hard (granite) body."
...A Brute says, "Stay here while I let them kill me so I can kill them faster!"
...A Scrapper says, "Stay here while I.....ya know what, screw it---CHARGE!11!!1!!11!!1!!

The day that Cuthbert stops the bantering with other guild members is the day we become just a bit too serious.

Hey guys  :)
Thought I best put a post on ;) I am afraid  that I won't be joining you all on the horde side for 2 reasons:
1... I do not have the time.
2...I don't feel that  I should up sticks and join another guild when there are still al lot peeps that need our help in the already established *Knights of Mercia*

If we spend more time helping out the lower levels in getting to 60, we would not need to recruit more ( I personally am happy with the guild the way it is )
And I can see it going the same way it did in CoH, straight down the toilet :-\  It didn't really work in there either, as soon as peeps got capped characters  they got bored and wanted something else i.e. another guild and the already established one became even less active.
I don't want this to happen to ours, we have a really great bunch of guys who play regularly and I would like to do all I can to help keep it that way. It would be a real shame if people didn't play as much as they would like to because of a lack of  team mates / help / general  guild activity.....I am not saying that I think the horde guild won't be a success or a bad idea , I just feel we need to support the curent one more.  ;)

That's exactly what I think, although expressed more eloquently.

Heh, an excellent post FF, oddly enough expressing the difficulty I feel like most of the time when playing online. for me the best part of playing online is treeaming up with others, and teamign with friends is even better. Unfortunately WoW seems to be quite geared towards spending the majority of your time solo and as I don't get a lot of time to play nowadays it's quite difficult for me to hang around waiting for a WoW team up, even though I'd much rather play with other people.

My trouble is that (1) I'm not a high enough level to participate in the guild raids to various high level instances (2) I get bored with grinding through quests solo and (3) crippling altitis...

So I was interested in the horde guild in order play with _more_ people not fewer as I thought there would be more low level chars around to team with!

and don't forget that I've already switched servers once in order to find more peeps to team with.

Most of my characters are at levels 10 - 20 with a few in the high 20's. Most Guild members, as its stands, if they support me - are actually doing me a favour. Being a great guild - most are very happy to do this often. Rarely can I help them though and I'd like to.  I do  not have a high level character who can help out.
More guild members including a Horde guild will mean a greater diversity of character levels. People at diffrerent levels will get what they need out of the game. And, there will be more of us.

My personal style as a player is that I am more transient than others. I play one character religiously and then get bored (Sorry Lisia). Sometimes I figure I'd like something else and I do something different.  Not everbody is interested in maxing out there lvl 60 character.

Although I understand that not everyone wants to max there char too 60, and peeps have different play styles etc. I wasn't meaning that  ::)
I just wanted to express my thoughts that , I personally will be spending the time I do have, helping and being as active as I can be ( even if its with my alts ) in our main guild. People can call me up anytime and I'll try and do whatever I can ( I may not be as good at the game as some peeps and may die shed loads :P ) but hey, its half the fun  ;D
So, here's hopeing that our current guild *knights of Mercia* will stay active and fun which is the main thing, as I feel Ive come to know most of you all as good friends :)

The horde guild was never meant to replace the original Knights of Mercia.

And here's me thinking that a horde guild would help provide a bit of diversity to stop people from getting bored and still keep everyone together....show's how much i know  ::)

I don't think the idea of a horde guild is such a bad idea Solar.  Personally, a change of scenery, pace, and a completely different set of quests, instead of re-doing the same alliance quests with every alt I roll, would make a change once in a while, but not to the exclusion of the main guild, which everyone has invested a vast amount of time to get it to where it stands today.  :)

As everyone has said before, if I'm about and you need that extra little bit of help, give me a shout if I'm on. I'm sure helping everyone in the guild get close to end-game content, would be beneficial for the guild in long run.  :)

All I was meaning is that we should support the original guild as it stands that's all, nothing more   ::) ;)

I can fully understand the need to want to do different quests, after having done 3 night elves the quests in teldrassil and darkshore are really annoying me now. If I had more time I would play a horde char but I really want to get my alliance char to lvl 60 first (any help with that would be so welcome) and do some nice high lvl raiding.

I'd love to team up with other members of the guild anytime! The only, always so present, problem is that everyone has a different schedule and that is something we can't change. OMG that sounds so...dark :P
Hope to see you all in game :D

Dogstar - gimme a ring in the evenings (not on Mondays, of course :) ) and I'll team up with ya! Cuthbert is nearing level 39 and I enjoy running round with other peeps, too - just when I log on, everyone seems to be lvl 50 and above and busy destroying the known world questing....
 :)

So actually I abuse Myd's knees through boredom.
Boring - that's something I haven't tried... can any engineer out there make me an awl to bore through Myd's knees?
Lets see how funny he is when his intestines are within my (admittedly tiny) reach! :)

(Its really difficult abusing people when you can only reach their knees by jumping - I hope the guild appreciates all the effort Cuth puts in)
