What AT and powersets do you reckon your main will be when CoV goes live?

For me it's Corruptor - Blasting and buffer in one package, suits you sir

Powersets? Still undecided on Primary (although having vast amounts of fun on Beta with Energy and the Ragdoll physics  ;D) and secondary is a toss up between Rad or Dark

Having some "technical issues" right now, but have played with four of the ATs (some more than others)...

Mastermind - Really cool having pet robots, but can be tricky in the odd mission (thinking particularly the cape mission) where the boss homes in on you almost as soon as he gets attacked, even if you're well out of range and haven't even touched/shot him yourself AND are stealthed... Also whilst great fun when the pets are alive without em your own attacks seem a bit, well, puny, but that's the design...

Dominator - Well it's interesting having the domination bar and of course an inherent power that really allows you to kick ass (for a short time anyway)... Not a bad compromise between control and "attack" powers (IMO)

Stalker - Sneaking up and hitting for greatly increased damage is fun, but these guys are just plain too fragile! Well for me anyway...

Corrupter - Okay, it blasts, and I like that... and it buffs/debuffs... certainly very interesting... and you can heal yourself (a bit) very early in the game... now that has to be worth rolling at the very least an alt or two...

Main AT for me? Well gotta be either Mastermind (with "shooty" pets) or Corrupter I think... I like shooting things... I'll probably roll up similar toons to the beta ones and see what happens...

Having too much time on my hands I will probably try them all. I like my stalker so will redo him, but also a brute (dark/stone or fire/stone) largely because my original 50 is a stone/axe tank and I want to do the evil equivalent. I will also do a corrupter, but I play too many controllers on CoH so will leave dominators and MMs for a while.

Did we ever decide which server we were going to be on ?

Zkarlet will be a Necro/Dark Mastermind, as on Beta, unless they add some new Dark powers somewhere else that I would consider. (A DDC would be too similar to the original Zkarlet's DDD)

I'm enjoying playing Darth Tiffany though - Grav/Psi Dominator  8)

 By the looks of the Poll, and unless anyone has any major objections, it's going to be Protector.

Was going to go for a Grav/Psi Dominator.

But the Dark/Dark corruptor I rolled last night is too much fun. (Snipe at lvl 2. nice.)

Screw it. I am an alt whore anyway. I will prob make em all.

Think I'll settle for a Corruptor too...well before Alt'itis sets in anyway.  Will try various combis but will probably settle on Dark / Dark. 

What with this AND CoH can we please start a separate thread for Alts Anonymous?  Hi, my name's Joolz and I'm an Altaholic...

Well I have round about 60 heroes and at least one on every server, so I'll join you in the forlorn hope altoholics anonymous section. I'm extremely glad to get the 4 more slots on Freedom where I have 5 39+ and a couple more 20+ toons.

My probable intention is to play a couple of toons with my RL friends in the Norwich based SG I'm involved with, including my stalker who is a direct rip off of the L5R character I play tabletop with them.

In FH, I'll probably play a brute as nobody else is. I'm hoping to persuade the Norwich mob to do the same server as FH so that I can switch in other toons as necessary.

I've got extreme altoholism too but I think I'll start with a fire/fire dominator called 'Infernal Alice' or Infernal something or other anyway...

I've been playing mostly brutes in the beta so I'll do one of those too

and I came up with an idea for an ice/ss tank too - Neanderthal Man - frozen in ice for 10,000 years!

Could I just say.. Don't feel forced into an AT just because " We need one for the group!" If you enjoy or want to see what an AT is like - That's cool :). However we've done TFs' and missions with what is generally considered a 'sub-optimal' team. Yes we had team wipes, yes  we had to watch what we where doing and yes we had to be careful...BUT after the first couple of missions we opened a Huge Can'O'Whup Ass™ and stomped , hard, anything that got in our way ;D

No I'm playing the brute because he's my lvl 50 stone/axe tank's evil counterpart. He is a fire/stone brute, currently level 7.
