well, i've always dreamed of running around in spandex and smashing people with a big shiny sword ... now, with this i've been able to do both... BRILLIANT!! Thanks for showing me this game at the meet last saturday...
However
Naaam, you know that Disc I asked you to do for me, I kinda ... forgot I put it in my pocket, so when I sat down on my couch, it kind of ... snapped, now, we can all imagine what happened to the disc and my reaction to it... (OUCH!!) now, i looked around on the CoH site and finally found where it lets me download city ... so, I haven't left my computer on all night to find that City has downloaded and is ready to play ... looks like i'm not going to college for a couple of days yay = D
But again guys, thanks for a great time and a great game!

Just make sure the subscription you get is to the American version of the game not the European one (I believe it can be sorted out if you get the wrong one, just takes time), and hope to see you in game soon.

We signed him up there and then, got him invited to the SG/ FH chat and everything (we don’t let potential converts get away…)
I even rolled him a defender and taught him how to tank ;)
Welcome to CoX Neo I’ll be seeing you around paragon city, although now that the meet convinced me to start playing wow again, it may be slightly less frequently that it would otherwise have been

I think he means your global handle, not your toon name.
In CoX you can add player accounts to your friends list (or ignore list if necessary), rather than having to do it for each toon (although you can have separate server friends lists for individual toons).
The Global system allows you to chat with friends on deferent servers, even on different factions.
By default your global handle is the name of the first toon you created, you get to change it once.
Your global handle is flashed up in the reams of text which appear I the log when you log on. The name is preceded by an @ sign.
For all those people joining/ rejoining City, remember all of next weekend you get double XP, you chose the right time to come back.

It all pivots on whether my laptop can actually play the game, unlike my PC... *glares behind him at the Cumbersome Beast*
Oh, and whether I can find money to pay for the subscription. (I've spent FAR too much in the last week and put myself under £200 for the month now).
But I hope to see you on both games in the near future. :)

hmm, in the ways of Global chat name, account name <deleted> but my first character i've made is called Valangor, i'm not sure which one you need but choose whatever u will.
MOD EDIT: It's generally not a good thing to post any account details online ;)

Account name is your "PlayNC account" name - don't forget to check that regularly as they run a shed load of beta tests ;)
If the first character was Valangor then your global name will be @Valangor. As has been mentioned this can be changed but only once. Since you can add someone as a global friend offline I'll add you to the list, expect a friend request from @Naaman.

I fiddled around a bit - created a villain called Funny Guy
should I be hovering around villians or Heroes wheres the next new group meant to be?
