Title: Re-assessing
Post by: Naaman on 17 January 2007, 05:34:00 pm
Since Piglet got another 10 day trial with Burning Crusades I'm going to try dipping my toes in (again) to the murky pool of WoW.

Hopefully a lot of the tossers and battlenet freaks will be happily spamming duel requests in the new zones leaving me to muck about in a more peaceful setting :)

just dont be any of the new races for the first few weeks it's filled with the kind of people you would rather avoid. On a positive note most places outside of outland are pretty empty

Having spoken with Naam I've decided to try WoW again.  Started an elf hunter last night on Shadowsong called Jayhaych.  Must say I'm loving every minute (lvl 4 in just a few mins) and glad to be splitting my time between this and CoH.

I'll be on WoW tonight, and on CoH over the weekend to get CityHero to 50.

I haven't bought the expansion for WoW.  Instead I'm going to buy the new edition of the WoW guide and concentrate on levelling Jayhaych from the ground up.  If I continue with the game AND get the old fart to around lvl 60 then I may consider buying Flaming Farts...or whatever the expansion pack is called.

Well I only got incessant Duel Invites three times over the weekend so that was a good start :)

A couple of bags from Rach and some gold from Swifty helped too and being told to sell at the auction house the stuff that I would regard as vendorable (single gems from drops and stacks of light leather) has turned a pretty profit  8)

Hahahahahaha!

And now he's a level 43 with a Horney Ram (his quote, not mine) and far too much gold for an impoverished Gnome to be happy about!! Plus, he has alts!

Bwahahaha!

I've got one banks character and a Mage (but only 'cos I had a silly name)  :P

As for the Ram thing, it's on the guild comments  ;)
