Title: In Game Guild Calender
Post by: icemaiden on 24 October 2006, 11:15:19 am
OK peeps i have had a thought (Yes i did have to lie down after).

Do any of you think it would be a good idea to have the addon for guild management?

The addon means we can plan events actually during game time.

I will be trying it out with my other guild (I hear the gasps of horror, but i do have a lvl 60 on a different server).

It sounds good to me since we don't really get many guildies here on the forum. - Will let you know how i get on.

Mean while would love to hear you opinions

Hey lovely,

I thought you where going to teleport your mage to Shadowsong.

We need some massive firepower in the guild, us DPS Paladins can´t do all the job for you :P

lol - hey cutie

I was but Shadowsong was never listed. Then i changed job - to my suprise and great joy 50 % of my new company plays WOW and we all play before work and at lunch. Because i couldn't move my Mage to Shadowsong i agreed with my new work to join thier guild and move her there (BronzeBeard).

Thats what i did and sadly Shadowsong is now available but i have to wait 6 months till i can move her again :(

Even so....

Played with the guild manager yesterday and i really like it. I am going to set up KOM as a channel at lunch today.

Once i have it set up i will post info on getting it and using it.

BTW - I have a baby Pally :) - She is called MakeMe (She is on ShadowSong - lvl 6 at mo) - So if anyone see's her online please invite to the guild.

Ok KOM is set up - i have put one dugeon up for sunday.

Go download it:

http://www.curse-gaming.com/en/wow/addons-1592-1-guildeventmanager.html

It's a normal add-on that goes in interface - addons. (remember to extract it after download)

Once extracted make sure it's ticked in your add-ons list on the character creation page.

When you get on line you will see a new icon on the mini map at the bottom. click on it.

Go to the options page and type in KOM then click add.

At this point PLEASE remove the default GEM channel. if you don't random people can join our group!

You can add events on the New tab or see whats already happening on the events tab.

If you wana go to an event make sure you add your self by clicking on the event and selecting add (or join or something like that) button.

Questions?
