Been having a long weekend real long... back tomorrow...And "boo wahhh" a bunch of the servers went down (a good portion of one of the NOC by the looks of things, can't remember the east/west coast split) -- had me bow'n'arrow out too.....
Has anyone else had problems with I5 stability. Another SG I'm involved with was doing Numina last night, and we had 12 individual crashes (all 6 of us crashed at least once, but we never crashed at the same time). Most of the crashes involved the same sounds repeating before the crash.Steve aka Mr Monochrome

The looping sound is not uncommon and often means you need a hardware reset. It's woth checking the main forums, especially the "Before you post" thread on the tech forum because although the problems only occured after I5 it may only have been the final part needed for something wrong to show up. If you're crashing when a particular sound is being played then for the moment the best thing to do is disable sounds, check in a week to see if it's been fixed. Finally it may just be a server side issue In which case all we can do is hope they fix it promptly
....or was that a side effect of too much Shpitfire...Shepherd Neam's finest.
