Been having a long weekend  ;)  real long...   back tomorrow...

And "boo wahhh" a bunch of the servers went down (a good portion of one of the NOC by the looks of things, can't remember the east/west coast split) -- had me bow'n'arrow out too.....

 Meh - I only remember NOC from Mission:Impossible ;)
on the other hand it could be something to do with the rather "inclement" weather they're having...

Has anyone else had problems with I5 stability. Another SG I'm involved with was doing Numina last night, and we had 12 individual crashes (all 6 of us crashed at least once, but we never crashed at the same time). Most of the crashes involved the same sounds repeating before the crash.

On the plus side, we were level 35, the monsters 37-40 mainly 39 and 40 and it wasn't the bloodbath I expected in I5.

It's more than likely a "hard crash". The looping sound is not uncommon and often means you need a  hardware reset. It's woth checking the main forums, especially the "Before you post" (http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=2949193&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=14&fpart=1#2949193) thread on the tech forum because although the problems only occured after I5 it may only have been the final part needed for something wrong to show up.

If you're crashing when a particular sound is being played then for the moment the best thing to do is disable sounds, check in a week to see if it's been fixed.

Finally it may just be a server side issue :( In which case all we can do is hope they fix it promptly

Same thing happened to jimmy last night once, but the rest of us were ok.

The only change I noticed (so far as stability is concerned) was extremely choppy game play.  Using superjump I continually found myself going backwards....or was that a side effect of too much Shpitfire...Shepherd Neam's finest.

It's a server side problem. Did Katie Hannon TF (Croatoa) tonight with a completely different group of people, and although I didn't crash, 4 or 5 other people did with the same problem. Odd, I've done a load of other missions successfully, but only seen the crashes on the TFs.

What a bizarre TF that is - kill the same AV 10 times to kick off.

Other problem I was having, being detoggled entering missions, and activating click powers (group invis and the psionic mastery epic mez prot) outside a mission, going in and finding they weren't active but were recharged in the 5 or 10 seconds it took me to enter.
